A pair of candle sticks designed by Elis Bergh for CG Hallberg

Silver plated.Elis Bergh (1881–1954) was a Swedish architect and designer renowned for his contributions to early 20th-century decorative arts. After studying at the Academy of Arts in Stockholm from 1899 to 1902, he initially worked in architecture but soon transitioned to design. Notably, he was the artistic director of Kosta Glasbruk from 1928 to 1950, where he influenced the company's elegant and modern designs during that period. In addition to his work with glass, Bergh collaborated with the esteemed Swedish silversmiths C.G. Hallberg during the 1920s and 1930s, creating chandeliers and other lighting fixtures celebrated for their simplicity and beauty.
