Ceiling lamp model 6022 designed by Gunnar Asplund for Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik, Sweden
1950/60s
Green lacquered metal suspension with shade in matt opal glass. The model was originally created for Gunnar Asplund's music room at the Workshop's exhibition held at Liljevalchs Konsthall in autumn 1920. It became part of Böhlmark's collection in 1922 and remained so until Ateljé Lyktan took over production in 1965.
The lamp features a green lacquered metal suspension, with three delicate chains descending to support the gently curved matt opal glass shade. The design is simple yet refined, perfectly balancing functionality with an artistic, decorative quality.
