Beech.This Danish floor lamp ‘Bridge’ was designed by Severin Hansen in the 1950s. The white shade elegantly hangs from a curved beech stem that balances on three stable feet. The design brings to mind organic forms commonly found in nature.
Little is known about Severin Hansen's life, and yet his designs show exceptional craftsmanship and use of materials.
