Modernity exhibits at the Salon New York 2019
We proudly presented the rare “Futurum” shelf, designed by Axel Einar Hjorth. This was first time we had displayed it at a fair. We paired the shelf with a set of “Futurum” chairs (also by Hjorth), an impressive eight-foot long Järveläinen bench, and an attractive black lacquered corner cabinet by Erik Lund.
Many other Scandinavian classics were also on view, including a “Sabre Leg” dining table by Hans J. Wegner, a “Sleigh” chair by Börge Mogensen, and a “Flora” cabinet by Josef Frank. A modular Bruno Mathsson shelf will hold ceramics by Berndt Friberg, Axel Salto and Wilhelm Kåge.
We also displayed a range of table and ceiling lamps by Poul Henningsen. These lights included the rare PH Louvre ceiling lamp and the PH 2/2 “Question Mark” table lamp, among others.
