Modernity is delighted to announce its fair exhibitions for 2025. This year, we are pleased to be exhibiting at three prestigious fairs: PAD Paris in April, TEFAF New York in May, and PAD London in October.
For the upcoming TEFAF at the Park Avenue Armory, we have curated an outstanding selection of Josef Frank’s most celebrated works. Among the highlights, we will present not just one, but two Flora chests of drawers, alongside a rare Model 1020 table from Estrid Ericson’s personal collection. As 2025 marks the centenary of Svenskt Tenn, it feels particularly fitting to honour this milestone by showcasing such exceptional pieces from its history.
Modernity has been a regular exhibitor at PAD London in its iconic tent at chic Berkeley Square, Mayfair, for over a decade. The six-day fair brings together an eclectic mix of modern art and design, making it an unmissable event for collectors and connoisseurs alike. “Our gallery has been situated on Pimlico Road for many years,” says Director Andrew Duncanson. “It is clearly a natural choice for us, as specialist dealers in vintage modern design, to be present at the largest fair in our field in London.”
We were also delighted to return to PAD Paris in April, one of the most elegant fairs in the international design calendar. Held each spring in the heart of the Tuileries Garden, PAD Paris celebrates the very best in historical and contemporary design. Founder and Director Andrew Duncanson remarks, “It has been nearly ten years since we last exhibited at PAD in Paris. It is always a beautiful fair, set in the Tuileries Garden—quite breathtaking in its own right.” This year, we were proud to present some of Hjorth’s and Wegner’s most significant pieces, including the ‘Utö’ side table and an exceptionally early version of the Flag Halyard Chair.
