Barbro Nilsson (1899–1983) was a pioneering figure in Swedish textile art and design, renowned for her innovative weaving techniques and her significant contributions to Scandinavian modernism. Serving as the artistic director of Märta Måås-Fjetterström’s (MMF) esteemed atelier, she profoundly shaped the field of textiles, leaving a lasting legacy of artistry and craftsmanship.
