Pine & fabric.
David Rosén (1910–1993) was a Swedish cabinetmaker and designer renowned for his significant contributions to mid-20th-century Scandinavian furniture design. Throughout his career, he maintained a long-standing collaboration with the esteemed Swedish department store and furniture manufacturer, Nordiska Kompaniet (NK).
Rosén was particularly prolific during the 1950s, creating a range of furniture for NK, often collaborating with other designers like Stig Lindberg. One of his notable furniture series is the "Berga" series, characterized by sturdy solid pine furniture with a simple and functional design. These stools are crafted in solid pine, a signature material in Rosén’s work, reflecting the rustic yet modern Scandinavian aesthetic of the mid-20th century.
