“Idealbordet” is a versatile and functional table designed by Swedish designer Otto Wretling in the 1930s. It is characterised by its adjustable height and extendable surfaces. This level of flexibility was especially appreciated in functionalist homes, where practicality was highly valued.
Otto Wretling (1876–1971) was a multifaceted Swedish designer, furniture maker, architect, and painter based in Umeå. Alongside his brother Wilhelm, he took over their father's paint company and, in 1905, expanded it into a furniture manufacturing enterprise.
