Combining luxurious wood with steel was typical for Danish design during the 1960s, and Poul Nörreklit’s bar trolley is an excellent example. With its compact cuboid body, sliding top, and fine steel base on small wheels, this elegant mid-century piece is both tasteful and functional.
The trolley’s Formica surface is practical and allows for glasses and bottles to be placed on top without leaving marks or stains. A second sliding drawer inside the trolley reveals a little compartment for bar tools. A cleverly added key locks the construction.
