The model won first prize in the Crafts, Furniture Industry Association, SAR, SIR and Swedish Handicraft Association competition in 1962.

These folklorish highbacked elm and rattan chairs from the early 1960s were produced in very small quantities by the cabinet maker Torsten Schollin. The chair's shape is similar to the "Poem Chair" designed by Carin's uncle, Erik Chambert, a decade earlier.

The woven backrests are reminiscent of Native American dream catchers, and the original hand-woven blue upholstery and cushioning add to the handcrafted aesthetic of the pair. The solid elm drumstick front legs bring to mind the designs of the renowned Danish cabinet maker Peder Moos. With its gentle curve in the backrest, the chair is comfortable yet elegant.

Carin Chambert was the niece of Erik Chambert and the daughter of Otto Chambert, the head of "Chamberts Möbler," the renowned family-run furniture-making business in Norrköping.
