Barbro Nilsson (1899–1983) was a prominent Swedish textile artist renowned for her significant contributions to weaving and textile design. At only 14 years old, she began attending a weaving school, where she was trained in colouring technique. In 1942, following the death of Märta Måås-Fjetterström, Nilsson became the artistic director of the Märta Måås-Fjetterström weaving studio in Båstad. She held this position for nearly three decades, during which she managed the studio's legacy and introduced new designs, ensuring its continued prominence in textile art.
