Severin Hansen's model 35 from the 1950s has two practical surfaces and an elegant pullout drawer. It was produced by the renowned Danish manufacturer Haslev Mobelsnedkeri. The design simplicity and angular silhouette make the table an interesting midcentury collectible; the miter joints, where the legs meet the apron, are typical for Hansen.
Little is known about Severin Hansen's life, and yet his designs show exceptional craftsmanship and use of materials. Almost all of his table designs were realised in rosewood, one of the rarest and most beautiful woods.
