Cuban mahogany frame with linen-blend upholstery and leather piping.
The sofa was made by the master cabinetmaker Ole Lander and was produced in very small numbers, if at all. The sofa is comfortable and elegant but also remarkably practical.
The upholstery stands out because of the ingenious way the front sections of the armrests have been left bare — a very suitable way of protecting the upholstery in those places that are commonly first to suffer from everyday wear. By allowing the polished Cuban mahogany to protrude, a sense of lightness is added to the overall design. The sofa has been newly upholstered in a linen blend material and contrasting leather piping.
