Erich (1898–1972) and Ingrid Triller (1905–1982) were visionary ceramicists known for their meticulously crafted stoneware. They met during their studies in Germany between 1929 and 1934, where they cultivated a shared commitment to functional design and technical precision. In 1935, they established their ceramics workshop in Tobo, Sweden, where they refined their signature style—elegant, precisely formed stoneware that embodied the ideals of the Bauhaus movement: simplicity, craftsmanship, and utility without excess ornamentation.

Under their leadership, the Tobo studio became a leading hub for Swedish ceramics, recognized for its high-quality production and refined aesthetic. Today, their work is preserved in major museum collections across Sweden, and their influence continues to shape modern ceramic artistry through its enduring blend of form and function.
